Alex began his interest in Modiin 24 years ago when he came here with his young family and was therefore part of the "founding generation". He and his wife, Nili, led environmental, heritage and landscape conservation activities as environmental activists

Alex continued his activities later as Deputy Mayor and council member, and in recent years Alex continues

to work in Modiin in real estate.

"I love the city and its residents, so it's important to me that wonderful families like those already here, and those who will be here in the future, continue to thrive and develop within the city that meets the diverse needs of families in all stages of life. As someone who immigrated to the United States in the 1970s, it's important I also help new immigrants find their home here, because it is a very significant step

in their absorption process in the country."
