From the day we arrived at Modiin 24 years ago, we fell in love with it at first sight!
We accompanied its development from the first days in 1996.
We got to know the city, both as activist residents and in my position as deputy mayor and as a city councelman responsible for the environment, tourism and preservation of the city's heritage.
We connected with Modiin, every street, every corner and every park.They say a bond gets closer as they become more familiar - I know Modiin from the moment of her birth, know every alley and every cute corner, every hidden virtue, every home and every neighborhood.
That's how over the years I became the "Modiin Expert"
As an archaeologist (M.A.) , I chose Modiin as my research project.
I led many projects as Deputy Mayor of Modiin,
and I know the city and its institutions deeply and personally.
My municipal knowledge and experience along with my love and expertise for the City of Modiin, I make available to my clients.
Why Modiin?

It is blessed with a comfortable climate that combines the right dose between the coolness of Jerusalem
and the warmth of the coastal area,
Modiin is located just halfway between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, as is known by a fast and accessible train line right from the city center to Tel-Aviv and in the future
a 20 minute train ride to Jerusalem.
For those travelling by car, there are fast and convenient transportation routes: Highway 6, 1, 431, and 443.
The unique heritage and landscape of Modiin attracted me from day one to fight for their preservation and cultivation, as an environmental activist. Today I can fully recommend the variety of nature, scenery and heritage sites that are within walking distance from Modiin's center:
Titora Hill - adjacent to the Prachim neighborhood and the Nachalim neighborhood, where centuries ago was the last stopping spot and supply area of pilgrims to Jerusalem, the hill houses over 80 different plant species, there is a castle with a spectacular 360 degree view , and legacy of battle from the war of independence in 1948 and even from the days of the Maccabees ...
Um El Omdan - the oldest synagogue in Israel, dated to the Maccabee period (maybe Yehuda Hamaccabee prayed there!) near the Moriah and Shevatim neighborhoods.
Modiin lies on the border of the Ben Shemen Forest, near Park Canada, and in the heart of the city there is Park Anava with a lake and exciting hiking trails for the whole family.
Living in such a green environment allows a more relaxed and healthy life routine for the whole family.
Why is Modiin Perfect for Families at Every Stage?
Not only is the environment in Modiin an ideal platform for the growth of a healthy and happy family. The city is built in a holistic way that harmoniously allows a rich community life so that young and old can integrate with many activities that can be reached by foot, bike, bus and car.
The neighborhoods are built on the hill side that descend to the valleys. The valleys are where there are public buildings and educational institutions, shopping centers and important services. This allows for a quiet living space in a rural atmosphere in the residential areas, along with walking access to the commercial and leisure areas in most neighborhoods, so that children and senior citizens can also independently participate and use public facilities and social activities without the need for travel.
The oldest part of Modi'in, has low up to 3-story buildings with ground-floor 4-6-room apartments with
gardens attached in most homes.
Most neighborhoods have a variety of parks that have playground and sports facilities for both toddlers and adults, and even for the whole family and are within walking distance from their homes.

In Modiin there is a variety of 3, 4 , 5 and 6 room apartments. Young couples can upgrade their homes and move into larger apartments without taking their family away from the community, educational institutions and neighborhood where they began their growth.
Why Second Hand?
Most of the housing projects in Modiin were built with high standards, therefore they are kept in very good condition.
The infrastructures were built by high standards as well, lasting for many years to come. The construction is characterized
by large, spacious rooms.
In the old neighborhoods the percentage of green areas and parks is very large, and you will be impressed that the parks are well maintained and are a pleasant attraction and meeting place for the residents of the neighborhoods nearby.
Who Are the Residents?
From my many years of acquaintance with the municipal field, both as an activist resident and as deputy mayor, and as a council member, I can attest that the significant strength of Modiin is its high-quality population.
I visited daily all the city's neighborhoods as Deputy Mayor and my current occupation dealing with real estate enables me to visit all the neighborhoods in Modiin. I meet the people of the city every day, and in most cases they really are the neighbors that everyone should wish for.
This relates to another advantage of buying a second-hand apartment: the possibility of getting to know the neighbors even before the decision to purchase
the apartment and signing a contract.
(Of course, not necessarily the neighbors will stay there forever, but the chance of "surprises" are smaller)
Certainly there are benefits to buying a new home from a contractor too, but in the long run,
as I can state from my own experience,
my family and I, over 24 years ago, learnt that it takes strength and courage each and every day, by every member of the family
to live in a building site, with no infrastructuers .
Just moving to a new home is a significant change affecting all aspects of each family's life, so every family should consider the time, energy, level of stress and nervousness they intend to invest, beyond their substantial financial investment.
Buying a new home from a contractor - it's a challenging experience. When we came to Modiin 24 years ago - we had no other choice ...
Today, I would encourage young families to expand within the neighborhood or nearby neighborhood, and for the older families in the "empty nest" phase to stay in the familiar and beloved neighborhood they have inhabited over the years.
We, by the way, are already empty at the nest stage and have chosen a smaller apartment ... in the neighboring neighborhood.
